Botox

Botox is a prescription injectable drug that temporarily improves the appearance of moderate to severe wrinkles between the eyebrows, forehead, and eye corners. It’s a brand name for prabotulinumtoxinA, a type A botulinum toxin that works similarly to Juveau, and Dysport.

How it works:

Botox temporarily paralyzes the muscles that cause wrinkles by blocking nerve signals in the treated areas.

Botox can improve the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, and can also be used to soften the chin, lengthen the lips, and more.

Common side effects include headache, eyelid drooping, upper respiratory infection, and increased white blood cell count. Serious side effects can include allergic reactions, heart problems, and eye problems.

Botox’s effects typically last three to six months, but some patients may experience longer-lasting results.

PRP

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a non-surgical treatment that can help restore hair growth by injecting a concentrated suspension of platelets into the scalp:

How it works:
PRP is made by taking a patient’s blood and using a centrifuge to separate the platelets from other blood components. The platelets are then concentrated in a layer called the buffy coat, along with a small amount of plasma. This concentrated mixture is called PRP.

PRP injections can:

– Stimulate hair growth by releasing growth factors that promote hair follicle health
– Increase the number of active hair follicles
– Thicken hair
– Strengthen hair
– Keep hair growing longer

PRP can be effective for patients with androgenetic alopecia, also known as male and female pattern hair loss.

The PRP is injected into the deeper layers of the scalp in areas of hair loss. The procedure typically involves multiple sessions over several months.

PRP is a low-risk procedure that usually doesn’t cause major side effects. The risk of an allergic reaction is low because the PRP is made from the patient’s own cells and plasma.

After the procedure, you may experience some soreness and bruising at the injection site

ADVANCED SKIN PEELS

A chemical peel for the face is a cosmetic procedure where a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers, revealing smoother, newer skin underneath, often used to treat wrinkles, acne scars, uneven skin tone, and sun damage, resulting in a more youthful appearance; the depth of the peel can vary from light to deep, with deeper peels providing more dramatic results but also requiring longer recovery time.
How it works:

The chemical solution causes controlled damage to the skin, prompting the body to regenerate new skin cells in its place.

Can improve fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, uneven skin tone, sun damage, and overall skin texture.

Light, medium, and deep peels, with different penetration depths and recovery times.

Glycolic acid, salicylic acid, trichloroacetic acid (TCA), lactic acid.

Microneedling

Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin treatment that uses a device with tiny needles to puncture the skin. The procedure is also known as percutaneous collagen induction therapy.
Here's how Microneedling works:
Stimulates collagen production:

The small punctures trigger the skin’s natural healing process, which produces more collagen and elastin. These proteins help keep skin firm and smooth.

Microneedling can help thicken the epidermis, the outermost layer of skin, which thins with age.

Microneedling can be used to treat acne scars, dark spots, large pores, wrinkles, and more. It can also be used to help with hair regrowth in people with alopecia.

Microneedling is generally considered safe and inexpensive, with minimal downtime. However, there are some risks to be aware of, including the risk of infection if the needles aren’t cleaned properly. The FDA recommends choosing a health care provider who is specially trained in microneedling

Kybella

Kybella is a groundbreaking non-surgical treatment that targets and permanently dissolves stubborn fat deposits. Most commonly used to contour the chin and jawline, Kybella is also effective in smaller areas like bra fat and the belly. It uses deoxycholic acid—a naturally occurring molecule in the body—to break down and eliminate fat cells. Once treated, those fat cells are gone for good, and the body naturally flushes them out over time.
Here's how Kybella works:
Dissolves Fat Cells Permanently:

Deoxycholic acid targets and destroys fat cells so they can no longer store or accumulate fat.

No scalpels or stitches—just simple injections with minimal discomfort and recovery time.

Especially effective for submental fullness (double chin), helping to sculpt and define the lower face.

Ideal for small areas that don’t respond to diet or exercise, like the chin, bra area, and lower abdomen.
